અમે તમારી માહિતી ફક્ત તમારી વિનંતીનો જવાબ આપવા અને સેવા ચલાવવા માટે વાપરીએ છીએ. અમે તેને વેચતા નથી.
1. Who we are
Vidhyantu ("we", "us", "our") provides coaching management software for tuition classes and coaching institutes in Gujarat, India, through the website vidhyantu.com and the Vidhyantu web and mobile applications. This policy explains how we handle personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law.
2. What this policy covers
- This website: visitors and coaching institutes who contact us.
- The Vidhyantu platform: data about students, parents and staff that coaching institutes enter into the platform (see section 9).
3. Personal data we collect on this website
| Data | When |
|---|---|
| Institute name, your name, phone number, email, city and the message you write | When you submit the "Request a partnership" form |
| The page you submitted the form from, and the date of your consent | When you submit the form |
| Your phone number and the content of your messages | If you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone |
| Usage data: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and events such as a form submission | Automatically, through Google Analytics |
Fields marked optional on the form, such as your email, are optional. You do not need to give them to use our website.
4. Why we use your data
- To respond to your request, schedule an onboarding call and set up your institute on Vidhyantu.
- To contact you about that request by phone, WhatsApp or email.
- To understand how the website is used and to improve it.
- To keep the website and platform secure and to prevent abuse.
For the form, we rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before you submit. You can withdraw it at any time (see section 7). We do not use your data for anything unrelated to these purposes without asking you first.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the service, and only as needed:
- Our own application servers (hosted with PythonAnywhere), where form submissions are stored so our team can follow up.
- Web3Forms, which delivers the form submission to our team as an email notification.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Google, for Google Analytics and Google Fonts.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us there.
Some of these providers process data on servers outside India. We may also disclose data if the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
6. How long we keep it
We keep website enquiries only for as long as we need them for the purposes above, for example while we are in touch with you about onboarding. After that we delete or anonymise them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. If you become a customer, your data is handled as described in section 9.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct or update it;
- ask us to erase it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, which will not affect what we did before you withdrew it;
- make a complaint to us and, if you are not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these rights, write to vidhyantu26@gmail.com from the email or phone number you used with us, and tell us what you want. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request.
8. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used. It may set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works without them.
9. Student, parent and staff data on the Vidhyantu platform
Coaching institutes using Vidhyantu decide what data about their students, parents and staff to enter, such as names, phone numbers, attendance, marks, fees, notes and notices. The institute is responsible for having the right to collect and use that data, including any consent needed from students or parents. Vidhyantu processes this data on the institute's behalf, only to provide the service.
- Each institute's data is kept separate from other institutes' data.
- If you are a student or parent, please contact your institute first about access, correction or deletion. You can also write to us and we will pass your request on to the institute and help it respond.
- We do not use students' or parents' data for advertising and we do not sell it.
10. Security
We use HTTPS and secure session cookies, and we limit access to personal data to the people who need it to run the service. No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
11. Children
This website is meant for coaching institute owners and staff, not for children. Data about children on the platform is entered by their institutes (see section 9). If you think a child has sent us personal data through this website, please tell us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will say so on the website.
